How to install Gnome themes in Linux

Install Gnome themes in Ubuntu Linux GTK3
  1. Install the gnome-tweak-tool

sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool -y

2.  Download a theme from a site like https://www.gnome-look.org

The theme Nordic is used in this example https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1267246/

The Icons are Zafiro Icons : https://www.gnome-look.org/s/Gnome/p/1209330

3. Extract the downloaded zips

cd ~/Downloads
tar -xvf Nordic-bluish-accent.tar.xz
tar -xvf Zafiro-Icons-Blue.tar.xz

4. Copy the Extracted Icons to /usr/share/icons

cp -avp ~/Downloads/Zafiro-Icons-Blue /usr/share/icons/

5 . Copy the Extracted theme to /usr/share/themes

cp -avp ~/Downloads/Zafiro-Icons-Blue /usr/share/themes/

6. Load the Gnome tweak tool

7. Set the Appearance under Applications and Icons
